CFIA: FOOD IMPORT LICENSE

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) notified importers that imported food will be rejected after Feb.12, 2024, unless a valid licence is obtained.

Namely, if you are importing any of these commodities:

Meat and poultry products, Dairy, Egg, Fish and seafood, Honey and honey products, and Manufactured foods such as beverages, confectionery, snack food, fats, oils, food derived from grains, spices, herbs, nuts, seeds, (raw, roasted, seasoned, or smoked), and Processed fruits and vegetables. but you do not have a Safe Food for Canadians licence, the imported food will be rejected.
